our programs

Our programs are designed for three core demographics: unemployed young adults, youth and educators. By focusing on these groups, we believe we can reach a very wide base and help build a future proof and technologically resilient society.

bootcamps

Our free, full-time technology bootcamps are run from our Innovation Hubs, situated in the low-income communities we serve.

During the first six months, students take crash courses in Design, Software Development and Digital Marketing, before picking a skill to specialize in. They are introduced to Artificial Intelligence and are taught how to use AI to improve productivity and enhance their creativity, readying them for the technology jobs of the future.

During specialization, students are matched with a Mentor and receive soft skills, professional, and career development training.

After graduation, we work with our students to help them land internships & full-time employment.

youth coding

As part of their learning experience and to give back to their communities, the young adults in our Bootcamps provide free, after school coding lessons at the nearby government schools.

Our youth participants, many of whom are first-time computer users, start their coding journeys by learning how to build computer games.

We maintain a low student : teacher ratio and use the Socratic Method and a project-based approach to make learning as fun as possible!

The goal of our Youth Coding program is to teach foundational CS logic and expose children to the wonders of computer science!

teacher training

The fastest and most cost effective way to teach every child in Zimbabwe how to code is by working directly with schools & educators.

We offer free training services to teachers, provide schools with our curriculum, and offer on-going virtual & in-person support.

We are currently in discussions with the Government to pilot an official teacher training program to equip 100 teachers with the skills & resources they need to bring computer coding into their classrooms.

If successful, we look forward to scaling this program nationwide.

our thoughts on artificial intelligence

The time to stop or slow down the development of Artificial Intelligence is long gone. The moment to do so likely never even existed.

We don’t believe that human workers will be replaced by AI, we believe that human workers will be replaced by people who know how to use AI.

So, our AI strategy is simple: teach all of our students how to use AI to augment their careers and interests, and, for the most curious - teach them how to build AI.
