start your uncommon journey today

Our technology bootcamp is a 12 month, full-time program designed to help unemployed young adults launch their technology careers.

Throughout the year, our Bootcamp students will learn Design, Software Development, and Digital Marketing, in addition to soft and entrepreneurial skills.

There are no prerequisites to join a Bootcamp, and accepted students will be provided with everything they need to be successful, entirely free of charge. The only thing we require is that all of our Bootcamp students give back to their communities by participating as instructors in our after school youth coding program.

Ready to start your career and help Zimbabwe become the tech capital of Africa?

At Uncommon, we've witnessed incredible transformations: students with little to no experience with computers becoming UI designers, developers, and digital marketers. Our goal now? To equip our incoming boot camp students with laptops.

Each laptop becomes a student's companion - first through their 12-month journey with us, and then as their own to keep after graduation, empowering them to launch their tech careers.

Think about that for a moment - your donation could be someone's ticket to a tech career. It could help a young person in Zimbabwe create their first website, design their first app, or land their first client.

Our graduates, like Wisdom Balicholo, are proof of this impact. After graduation, he used his boot camp laptop to freelance, and today, he's a full-stack developer at Lioncap Ventures in South Africa.

Whether you contribute funds or help spread the word - every action brings us closer to equipping our students with the tools they need to soar.
