The Judith Neilson Foundation invests in people, places and ideas. They approach their mission by forging partnerships with organisations that understand the diverse and interconnected challenges faced by disadvantaged and marginalised communities. JNF invests in locally-led solutions to social, economic, and resource inequities, and supports innovative solutions for development challenges worldwide. The Ella Fund is a donor-advised philanthropy fund empowering girls and women worldwide by investing in education, healthcare, and entrepreneurship. The Ella Fund is founded and run not by experienced philanthropists or big charity benefactors, but by “regular women who were lucky enough to have been born in circumstances providing them with the opportunity to live to their potential without having to think about it.” We are honored to be a recipient of a three year grant from The Ella Fund.
Based out of the United States with a distributed team of world class technology educators all over the world, ROI Training has been a dream partner. Not only have their Google and Amazon award winning trainers provided free support to our students, ROI Training has also paid for our office in Zimbabwe for the past two years. This has been critical for ensuring that our team has a centralized location with access to high speed internet and reliable electricity. We are deeply moved by ROI Training’s commitment to our mission.
Nedbank Zimbabwe was the first corporation to step up and sponsor an Uncommon Innovation Hub, making a free coding education possible for 1,000s of youth and young adults in Bulawayo. The Australian Embassy in Zimbabwe has had a hand to play in nearly every Innovation Hub we’ve built, none more important than the first one!
