scenes from the classroom
We launched our Youth Coding Program at Chisuma Primary School, just 5.5km from the Jafuta Innovation Hub, reaching 38 Grade 6 students for the very first time. What started with hesitation quickly turned into curiosity, and by the end of the session students were confidently dragging coding blocks and interacting with the program on their own. Our facilitators adapted on the ground, using vernacular language to make the lesson land, a small but important reminder that great teaching meets people where they are. It was a wonderful first session, and a very exciting start for the Jafuta community.

Thank you PDC, for seeing the Gwayi community's potential. The wildlife in Gwayi has long had its protectors. Now, so does its next generation.
